How to Get Listed on Corporate Event Planning Platforms
Corporate event planners have their own research channels — and they rarely overlap with the directories that wedding venues are used to. Being invisible on those channels means missing a significant revenue stream that's looking for exactly what you have.
The Platforms That Matter for Corporate
Cvent. The dominant platform for corporate event sourcing. Planners use it to send RFPs (Requests for Proposal) to multiple venues simultaneously and compare responses. A Cvent listing means your venue is included in those RFP batches. Corporate meetings and events at the higher end of spend almost always involve Cvent.
Tripleseat. A venue management platform that also functions as a search and booking tool for corporate clients. Used heavily in the hospitality industry and increasingly by standalone event venues.
Peerspace. More accessible than Cvent, with a wide range of corporate and creative event bookings. The platform skews toward smaller corporate events, off-sites, and production shoots — making it a good fit for unique spaces that don't fit the traditional hotel meeting room mold.
Social Tables. Used primarily by professional event planners for collaborative planning, but also has a venue discovery component.
How to Optimize for Corporate Search
When listing on these platforms, use the language corporate planners search: "corporate event space," "meeting venue," "off-site location," "conference room," "team event space." Wedding-forward language ("perfect for your special day") is irrelevant to this audience.
Lead with your AV capabilities, WiFi specs, capacity configurations, and catering flexibility. These are the fields corporate planners filter by — and they're often the fields that wedding-focused venue listings leave blank.
